A red boat sits in the sand with the East Point Lighthouse showcased between the trees behind it. East Point Lighthouse is an active navigational aid built in 1849, situated on the picturesque Southern Bayshore in Cumberland County, New Jersey. I painted this from a reference photo I took when we visited East Point Lighthouse in 2019. It was the first lighthouse my boys had ever seen. Only 4, 6, and 7-years-old, they grabbed their little cameras and snapped picture after picture. It’s a very beautiful location. East Point Lighthouse is a timeless piece for those who love lighthouses. It’s a perfect option for your home or to give as a gift.
